ATRO sources its raw materials from natural ingredients and collaborates with the century-old French fragrance company Robertet, working alongside top global perfumers, celestial researchers, navigators, and neurologists to create the essence of ATRO. The brand's mission is to enrich global consumers' understanding of fragrances, telling the stories and historical journey behind them from an Eastern perspective, providing fragrance lovers with full-bodied, extraordinary scents.
The Three Interpretations of the ATRO Canon
**First Interpretation:** Set against the backdrop of Eastern Futurism, ATRO continually develops Chinese raw material-based fragrances, using high-quality ingredients.
**Second Interpretation:** Celestial star-gazing scholars from around the world collaborate with top-tier perfumers and creative teams. In November 1842, the ATRO trading fleet, during its global voyage to ancient India (the Mughal Empire), encountered numerous Danish and Dutch fleets, as well as British merchants who had purchased a large number of Dutch ships. Against the backdrop of military upheaval and colonization, various local "scent sachets" used for attracting wealth and blessings gained popularity and were subsequently brought back to Europe by the British. In an era when spices were more valuable than gold, these sachets sparked widespread fascination and innovation. The original recipes were enhanced with additions such as iris, tuberose, orange blossom, and musk.
Upon obtaining these recipes, the ATRO fleet refined sandalwood and wealth-attracting trees harvested during their voyage into essential oils, replacing the original woody notes. "Wood attracts wealth, pine ensures safety," they believed. Later, symbols of good fortune like cedarwood, amber, and tortoiseshell were added to the blends, serving as talismans to navigate the uncertainties of their explorations.
In the 19th century, the Indian Ocean witnessed rare snowfall and frost. The ATRO fleet recorded moments when the sandalwood on their decks was dusted with blue-white frost, glowing amidst the snowy mist. The fusion of the guzheng and Celtic flute, tuberose and cedarwood, iris and benzoin, treasures and vases, the East India Company and Western fleets, the Peacock Throne and the Koh-i-Noor diamond—all these elements intertwined, transforming into wisps of fragrance that drifted across the ancient, frost-covered ocean, carrying the golden glow of sandalwood into the unknown.

PRECIOUS INGREDIENT
**Tibetan Iris Flower Essential Oil**
Specially infused with iris essential oil sourced from altitudes of 3,000 meters. The iris roots are sliced and air-dried for over two years, then distilled and extracted to produce iris concrete. It takes 24 kilograms of iris and two years of processing to yield just 1 kilogram of iris concrete. Hidden high in the mountains, the pristine iris exudes a dreamlike fragrance that emerges from the snow, drifting like a mirage into the golden sandalwood.
**Central American Tuberose Essential Oil**
Specially infused with the exceptionally rare tuberose essential oil. It takes 1,600 kilograms of tuberose buds to extract just 1 kilogram of tuberose essential oil. This mysterious floral scent, born under the moonlight, transforms into a rich, pseudo- natural body fragrance combined with the lily. It adds its finishing touch to the blend of other floral essences in the frost- kissed golden sandalwood, bringing a soft, moonlit elegance to the ancient frost.
**Timor Sandalwood Essential Oil**
A deep, rich woody fragrance, sourced from the "TIMOR" sandalwood of East Timor, renowned as the "King of Spices." Extracted through hydro-distillation from the heartwood of sandalwood trees aged over 20 years, it takes 20 kilograms of sandalwood to yield just 1 kilogram of essential oil. The aging process gradually intensifies the natural compounds in the golden sandalwood fragrance, making it more distinctive and ensuring a long-lasting base note.
